Kathi is an artist, illustrator and author from Dunmore East, Waterford.
Based not too far from the Blackwater Distillery we knew Kathi was the perfect fit for our second Redacted Whiskey launch. Over the past decade, her work has led her into the worlds of exhibition, books, brand collaborations and so many other creative mediums.
Her design has taken inspiration from the whiskey itself but also from the source of the River Blackwater which springs from the earth among a world of rich ferns.
Kathi is currently creating new work using collage, embroidery, painting and poetry and storytelling lies at the heart of all I do based in Garter Lane Visual Arts Studio, Waterford.
